Planning for the Fall

Lebanon Ballet School is committed to following all public health guidelines in order to protect the health and safety of everyone in our community. As new information becomes available, we will adapt our program as necessary.

With many unknowns about the upcoming year, we have been creating a plan for Fall classes that provides flexibility, lowers risk to students, families, and staff. And all while continuing to provide the high quality dance education that we offer at LBS.

Recognizing that Fall classes will take place, we have determined that the best approach is to limit class sizes, continue to offer some online classes, and space classes apart for cleaning and for comings and goings of students.

Our plan is to have a 2020 schedule available by August 7th. How the area schools reopen will have an effect on the LBS schedule—some classes may have to be added and others moved to different start times. Whatever we plan will have challenges, be subject to change, and no plan will be a simple, easy solution for everyone. The keys to LBS future, and the quality dance education offered, will require flexibility throughout the months ahead. As conditions change, LBS’s response will adapt appropriately.

Please be in touch with any questions, concerns, or opportunities.

Words We Dance By…

Being a dancer is not only a physical activity – it is an opportunity to develop many skills necessary in life: self-confidence, relating to others, concentration and focus, and a chance to relax, relieve stress, and concentrate just on yourself.

Our Staff

Our staff features highly trained professionals who have danced with ballet and modern companies and on Broadway. Their backgrounds and years of teaching experience allows them to pass on to your child the accumulated knowledge of many generations of professional dancers, teachers and choreographers with whom they have worked, safely and efficiently.

Our Process

We are committed to providing excellence in dance education and to instilling a love of dance in a supportive and encouraging setting. The staff teach a challenging, engaging curriculum designed to inspire and transform students—inside and out. Our small class sizes ensure that very student receives individual attention that caters to their needs, whether new to dance or aspiring to a professional career.

Our Facilities

Our convenient, air-conditioned school is located on the Lebanon Mall, close to I-89 and public transportation.  Our facilities are also important in preventing injury: our second floor studios have a 1,600 sq ft floating floor system with a professional non-slip floor surface.

Our Classes

We offer classes for ages 3+ in ballet and dance fundamentals. Our student, teen, and adult divisions include options for specialty workshops, master classes, and electives such as Conditioning, Jazz/Musical Theater Dance, Modern Dance, and Pas de Deux. Our curriculum is designed by our expert staff to prepare each dancer for the future, inside and outside of the studio.
